A new era for Palestine starts with the advent of the Trump administration. The United States recognizes Jerusalem as Israel’s capital, and several Arab Gulf states establish official diplomatic and defense relations with Israel. At the same time, renewed Palestinian grass-root mobilization throughout historic Palestine and beyond challenges Israel’s capacity for long-term control.
